On June 23 the Onondaga County Medical Society sponsored a symposium titled “Single Payer Universal Health Insurance: Has Its Time Come?" Panelists were Dr. Duane M. Cady, past president of the county and state medical societies and past Chair of the AMA; Timothy H. Engström, Ph.D, co-editor of “Health Care Reform”; David Klein, Chief Executive Officer of Lifetime Healthcare Companies; and Dr. David G.
